History: Yao originally moved in from a close island looking for a new life. Back then he had been involved in some shady businesses and when he got tired of looking over his back he decided to settle in what was once known as Fire Field. He tried to start his life anew, living as an honest worker the way it should be, peacefully and quietly. And even though fitting in was difficult sometimes, he still managed to make some friends and a life. He was having a good time, he had a home, a job, and a girlfriend. He's not sure if it came as a surprise or if any of his so called “friends” even missed him when he disappeared. He left Fire Field, and everything he had done and earned behind, and yet as far as he knows no one looked for him. The life he was trying to leave behind had caught up with him, he went into hiding for a while as he tried to fix what he'd done. A few years later he's come back to what is now known as Scorched Mountain, wondering how things have changed, wondering if anything of what he'd done is still there to be found.
Additional info:
-He traded his usual hammer for a couple of knives that he can keep concealed under his yukata.
-He gained two scars when he lived in the old Fire Field, none of them are visible under his clothes.
----The first one is on his right shoulder can only be seen from the back when he's not wearing sleeves. It looks like a circle about the size of a quarter, only him and Tensho seem to be aware of how he got it.
----The second one is on his chest, the way he got it is unknown.
